Schedule a Remote Appearance

You can schedule a remote appearance for your case by selecting a case litigation area below. The Court will accept reservations within 14 days from the current day and up to 30 minutes prior to the hearing start time.

LACourtConnect is a permanent part of the Court's Access LACourt | Your Way initiative.

Getting Started with LACourtConnect

LACC Release 2.0 – Beginning September 2023

Release 2.0 introduces an enhanced interface with smoother transitions and heightened security when moving from the "Virtual Gallery" (the waiting area) to the "Virtual Well" (the courtroom). This version will be phased in by litigation type beginning in September 2023. Read more to view the schedule.

Who can use LACourtConnect?

  • The site is for use by those with an active role in a hearing: litigants, attorneys, and witnesses. LACourtConnect is not available for use by the news media or general public.

How much does it cost?
  • It’s free! Since September 7th, 2021 the Court provides LACourtConnect free of charge using one-time state budget funding.
Restrictions

Photographing, recording, or broadcasting your hearing is prohibited by California Rules of Court 1.150 and local rules of court.

Language Assistance

If you need an interpreter for a courtroom proceeding, the court will provide one at no cost to you. This is a free service for people who use the courts.

How to schedule a remote appearance
How to Cancel a Remote Appearance

The cutoff time for canceling a remote appearance is 8 a.m. the morning of the hearing. Be sure to leave yourself enough time to complete the steps in this procedure. There is no other way to cancel a hearing. If you don’t cancel on time, you will still be charged the full appearance fee.
