Schedule a Remote Appearance

You can schedule a remote appearance for your case by selecting a case litigation area below. The Court will accept reservations within 14 days from the current day and up to 30 minutes prior to the hearing start time.

LACourtConnect is a permanent part of the Court's Access LACourt | Your Way initiative.

The New LACourtConnect Appearance App is now here for Probate, Traffic, Family Law, Civil, Small Claims and Unlawful Detained Litigations. LACourtConnect provides a convenient, safe option for appearing in court without having to come to court. Attorneys and their litigants can register for the remote appearance and receive all the information necessary to appear remotely via email.

Who can use LACourtConnect?

All nonconfidential court hearings are open to the public for in-person access only. There is no remote option for the media or public to observe court proceedings. LACourtConnect and Webex are intended for remote appearances by participants with a role in the case, including litigants, attorneys and witnesses.

Language Assistance

If you need an interpreter for a courtroom proceeding, the court will provide one at no cost to you. This is a free service for people who use the courts. If you think you may need an interpreter for a courtroom proceeding, click on "Request an Interpreter" below.

LACourtConnect Enhancement Updates

LACC Release 2.0 introduces an enhanced interface with smoother transitions and heightened security when moving from the "Virtual Gallery" (the waiting area) to the "Virtual Well" (the courtroom). This version will be phased in by litigation type beginning in September 2023.

How much does it cost?
  • It’s free! Since September 7th, 2021 the Court provides LACourtConnect free of charge using one-time state budget funding.

Photographing, recording, or broadcasting your hearing is prohibited by California Rules of Court 1.150 and local rules of court.

  • Can only answer technical questions related to LACourtConnect.
  • Will NOT be able to schedule a remote appearance for you.
